Brett Favre Opens Up About Parkinson’s Diagnosis

Brett Favre has disclosed his initial fear upon being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, expressing his thoughts that it felt like “the end of the world.” The former NFL star shared his experience in an interview with TMZ Sports, explaining that after observing issues with his right hand, he was diagnosed in January 2024.

“I felt like the world was caving in on me,” Favre said, reflecting on his initial reaction to the diagnosis. “I’m healthy. I’m very active. I mean, it doesn’t happen to me.”

Over a year later, Favre’s perspective has evolved considerably. “I’m trying to live in the present and just make the most of what I’ve got,” he remarked, attributing his positive outlook to the support from his family, friends, and community. He also noted that his medication has effectively managed his symptoms.
